The original creation of Dreaming Under a Cedar Tree was made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. Dreaming Under a Cedar Tree’s initial development was also supported by the Inverse Performance Art Festivals in Arkansas and California, Feast Gallery in Fayetteville, Arkansas, a Springboard for the Arts Hinge Artist Residency in Fergus Falls, MN, and Art of the Rural's Public Launch community space.
The 2018-2019 season of The Cedar Tree Project was supported by St. Mary's University's Page Series Art of the Rural, and Art of the Rural with community partners, including Project FINE.
The creation of 1001 Arab Futures was supported, in part, by the McKnight Foundation Dancer Fellowship SOLO Commission, a 2020 Minnesota State Arts Board Cultural Community Partnership grant, the Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts, Art of the Rural, and individual contributors.
