The original creation of Dreaming Under a Cedar Tree was made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. Dreaming Under a Cedar Tree’s initial development was also supported by the Inverse Performance Art Festivals in Arkansas and California, Feast Gallery in Fayetteville, Arkansas, a Springboard for the Arts Hinge Artist Residency in Fergus Falls, MN, and Art of the Rural'.
The 2018-2019 season of The Cedar Tree Project was supported by St. Mary's University's Page Series Art of the Rural, and Art of the Rural with community partners, including Project FINE.
